MIST BLITZ Formula Student Team
Team MIST BLITZ, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), is a student motorsport team that designs, builds, and competes with a formula-style race car. Founded in April 2024, the squad developed their debut vehicle, Furiosa 1.0, and has rapidly made its mark at major international competitions.
Formula Bharat 2025
MIST BLITZ claimed top honors in the technical quiz, demonstrating deep and broad engineering knowledge. Their performance in the Engineering Design CRM event in the combustion category was equally impressive: they emerged as CRM champions, validating both their conceptual design strength and resource-management skills.
Formula Student China (2025)
In the Formula Student Combustion China 2025 (FSCC) competition, held in Zhengzhou, MIST BLITZ stood out among 76 teams from around the world. MIST BLITZ earned the prestigious Best Foreign Team award, a recognition of their outstanding design, innovation, and competitive spirit on a global platform. MIST Blitz received the Best Presentation Performance award in the static events and they secured 4th place in the Business Plan Presentation, making a strong impression on judges with their strategic vision and business model. MIST also cleared the rigorous mechanical inspections — including chassis, cockpit, steering, and safety checks — and completed laps on the endurance track, marking a major technical milestone for a first-year team.
