Robotics & Innovation Take Over MIST — Robolution 2025 & IEEE RAAICON - Day 1 Highlights!

The Military Institute of Science & Technology (MIST) kicked off Robolution 2025 and the 4th IEEE RAAICON Conference with a grand inauguration on 27 November 2025. Maj Gen Md Nasim Parvez, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, Commandant of MIST graced the occasion as chief guest. 

This year’s Robolution brings together an extraordinary number of participants, over 1,500 from all corners of the country. With 520 teams competing across a wide range of demanding and exciting categories, the event showcases the limitless curiosity and determination of our next generation. 

Organized by the MIST Robotics Club, ROBOlution 2025 is packed with thrilling competitions, including Battle of Bots, Line Following Race, Soccer Bot, Cosmo Clench, Valorant Gaming Showdown, VLSI Design & Arduino Code Challenge

Complementing this vibrant festival is the academic pillar of the week, the 4th IEEE RAAICON-2025. With 505 submissions from 15 different countries that includes USA, UK, Finland , Korea , Saudi Arabia etc and 143 accepted papers, the conference reflects a growing level of international engagement and recognition.

The chief guest respected Commandant MIST , in his inaugural speech , reaffirmed MIST’s commitment to fostering an environment that encourages creativity, research, leadership, and responsible engineering practice. He further reiterated that MIST will continue to enhance her facilities, expand partnerships, and empower students, ensuring that MIST remains at the forefront of national progress.

Brig Gen KM Mustafizur Rahman, psc (Head of EECE  Dept MIST & Organizing Chair), Prof Celia Shanaz (General Chair, RAAICON, Prof BUET ),Dr. Shaikh Anowarul Fattah (Technical Chair, RAAICON, Prof BUET ) and Dr. Mohammed Imamul Hassan Bhuiyan (Organizing Chair, RAAICON, Prof BUET ) also gave their valuable speech. 

The excitement is in full swing as competitions unfold and researchers share groundbreaking ideas. The revolution has begun — and the future is being built at MIST!
