Driving Efficiency through Expertise: PME Launches Specialized Short Course

The Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering (PME) is proud to announce the inauguration of our specialized short course, "Analysis of Lubricating Oil and Liquid Fuel Properties," which is being held from January 8th to 11th, 2026. This intensive program is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical performance. By mastering the intricate analysis of fuel and lubricant properties, participants gain the vital skills necessary to significantly enhance engine effectiveness and overall operational efficiency.

We are particularly excited to welcome a diverse group of 29 participants for this session, including 25 dedicated MIST students, 3 Military Officers from the Log Area, and 1 industry professional. This collaborative environment allows for a unique exchange of knowledge between the academic, military, and industrial sectors. Now in its second successful iteration, this course reflects PME’s ongoing commitment to providing high-demand technical training that meets the evolving needs of the energy and engineering industries.
