Col Syed Mahfuzur Rahman, SPP sir is working as the Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering and Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He appointed as the Head of BME department, MIST in 2019. He is very energetic hardworking and dynamic person and also very student friendly. Under his guidance and supervision BME department established nine modern laboratories which used for advance research and training. He also established MRI & CT Scan Lab which equipped with a MRI & CT scan Machine.
