On August 26, 2025, the Department of Architecture, MIST, hosted a Lecture Session titled “Inclusivity in the Built Environment”, featuring Dr. Mohammad Faruk, Associate Professor at BRAC University, as the keynote speaker. The session brought together students and faculty members to explore the principles and practices of inclusive design, emphasizing how thoughtful, participatory approaches can create spaces that are accessible, equitable, and responsive to diverse communities. An interactive Q&A session followed, during which participants discussed challenges and opportunities in applying inclusive design principles in real life urban projects.
